Reverse Advent Calendar
Are you looking for an advent calendar with a difference this year? Well this Reverse Advent Calendar would look striking on the wall of any home. Every day it prompts you to set aside a different item to donate to your local foodbank. Artist Lucianna Cole created this graphic originally for the Haselmere Food Bank in Surrey and then kindly updated it at my request for any would-be foodbank-donator to print out and use. *New for 2022* is the Vegetarian version of the calendar.

If you are keen to join in with my idea of the #foodbankelf (where your Elf on the Shelf brings - and hides - a foodbank item each day during advent) then have a look at the photos below of the #foodbankelf in action - using the Reverse Advent Calendar to decorate a donations box!
Also available is the introductory poem I have written to help the Elf introduce the idea (see the star-outlined screen shot of it below). The Word document version of the poem is editable, so if you have more than one Elf you can include them by changing "I" to "we" etc. Just click on the blue 'W' icon. The star border will use minimal ink to print and it will even look great if printed in b&w as you could colour the stars in by hand afterwards. *You'll need to view and print the Word doc on a PC or laptop as a phone screen plays havoc with the layout!*

The #foodbankelf in action! The donations box is decorated with the Reverse Advent Calandar squares, so each day it is obvious which item to look for hidden around the house...
