Empty medication 'blister packs' (those ones which are an annoying mix of foil and plastic) can now be taken to many big-chain and local chemists for recycling, via a Terracycle scheme.

The high-street chain 'Superdrug' has a drop-off box in every pharmacy, these locations (and other local participating chemists) are listed on a handy Terracycle interactive map, accessed from this webpage.

So whether it is packaging for contraceptive pills, hayfever tablets, vitamins, over-the-counter painkillers, regular meds or occasional medication - please collect it and take it to a participating chemist. Keep these hard to recycle packets out of landfill! Oh and tell your friends / family / neighbours about this scheme too.
