Step 16 = Disinfect phones, remotes and keyboards regularly.
Disinfect touch screens, keyboards, phones and remote controls at least once a week (and certainly more often if there is illness in the household). Use a slightly damp cloth with a drop of tea tree oil on. My favourite Tea Tree Oil is the 'Naissance' brand from Amazon, it is in a 100ml glass bottle - I buy a pack of two for about £15 - and they arrive in plastic-free delivery packaging. If you want to refill these bottles, then 'Mystic Moments' on Amazon sells huge 500ml metal bottles of tea tree oil (admittedly with a plastic screw top) which will keep you going for a good long while.
To make it last ages (and to distribute it sparingly) buy some atomiser spray caps from Amazon (with an 18mm neck) to turn the 100ml bottles into spray bottles.
For expensive, precious screens use a purpose-made screen cleaner 'This Cleans Screens' (from Techlink, via Amazon) is antibacterial and comes with a cloth - spray the cleaner onto the cloth, don't spray directly onto the screen.
Obviously keep the spray out of reach of children.
The common scare-statistic is that our phones harbour more germs than a toilet seat. Urrgh! Pass the antibacterial cleaner!
