Step 14 = De-clutter your bath and shower.
A host of bath / shower paraphernalia (in my case plastic-packaging-free soaps in soap dishes) to move, wipe down, wipe under and replace wastes time, and puts you off getting round to cleaning.
Keeping your (probably expensive) products where they get wet everyday means that the bases get slimy and mouldy. This grime transfers to your hands every time you use them, yuck!
The solution is to have good storage.
Either, a waterproof (toughened glass) shelf, positioned above head height to avoid any head-bashing accidents, and away from the spray of the shower or bath, but within easy reach when you are getting washed.
Or, invest in a chrome (rust-proof) over-shower hanging rack, if you have a shower cubicle / fixed screen. Such as this one from Amazon, it is made from a durable, coated material, it has two over-panel hooks for stability, it comes with two suction cups to prevent the baskets banging against the glass, plus the trays are wide- and deep-enough to hold items securely.
Hooray for good storage!
