Step 19 - Eat milled linseed everyday.
Milled linseed is apparently packed with 'good' oils and vitamins, it decreases inflammation in the body and makes skin and hair grow. It's added to dog food to give dogs shiny coats... I want to keep my hair shiny without resorting to coating it in damaging silicones, so it's worth a try!
I buy organic milled linseed in huge 5kg bulk-buy bags (in stretchy plastic, which can be recycled with carrier bags at large supermarkets). On the high-street you can buy small (250g) plastic pouches, but they are foil-lined and almost impossible to recycle. So I buy in bulk and store in air-tight containers.
You need to buy 'milled' linseed, as 'whole' linseeds are not easily digestible. Flaxseed is another name for linseed.
I add 1tbsp of milled linseed to my breakfast porridge in the morning. It is also tasty sprinkled in yoghurt or over salads. Yummy and good for you, hurrah!
