52Eco#25 Recycle bulbs and batteries at Ikea.

Everyone ends up in Ikea at some point, so next time you do go, take along your unwanted LED lightbulbs and your batteries for recycling. The recycle point is usually inside Ikea, near the returns desk / waiting area.

If you think you'll forget to take them, write yourself a reminder note now and wrap it around your 'Ikea Family' card - so before you go, when you are checking if you have your card, you'll see the note and remember to take along your recycling items too. Oh and make sure you go straight away to deposit them (by going in through the exit doors) or else you'll probably carry the batteries and bulbs around Ikea in your bag, get distracted by the hot dogs / ice creams / doughnuts by the exit and end up taking the recycling home with you. Easily done...

Did you know...? Any shop which sells over 32 kg of batteries per year MUST (by law) have a battery recycling collection point!
